The Basics: Tanium’s Global Enablement team is looking for a full-time intern for a 10-week summer internship. The Global Enablement team is responsible for enabling both Tanium team members including our go to market teams, our technical teams, general leadership as well as our customers and partners. The individual will be reporting to the Global Enablement Intern Mentor as well as will have direct exposure to the Global Enablement Leadership Team. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for learning and driving positive change across both individuals and teams. The focus of this role is to help assist in program execution working in several different roles in the Global Enablement team, focused on operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring sound people and communication skills combined with the ability to plan and work with virtual teams. The successful candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks, deal with ambiguity in a growing environment, and possess a high level of organizational skills and detail-orientation.
This is a hybrid position, which will require in person attendance several days each week in one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.
The hourly rate for this internship is $27. This hourly rate is an estimate for what Tanium will pay an intern. The actual rate offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an hourly rate, interns will be eligible for 401k matching and a monthly allowance for communications reimbursement.
What you’ll do:
- Survey Management: Craft new surveys for training offerings, ensuring consistency of data collection across all courses. Set up analysis structure for survey data and establish process and cadence recommendations.
- Enablement Resource Management: Clean up and reorganize training course materials. Partner with department stakeholders to check session materials, convert to Tanium-branded materials when needed, and store in an organized fashion.
- Calendar & Roster Management: Create Training calendar invites and engage with attendees to maintain accurate training rosters. Align event sign-ups with the sign-up data in our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Event Producer: Shadow and support the facilitators of our numerous enablement events. Support includes break-out activities, material organization, general run of show and post event production of recordings and SharePoint sites.
- Curriculum Management: Conduct curriculum learning path audits and role analysis. Identify core responsibilities associated for targeted roles that are supported by Enablement. Engage with department stakeholders to share findings and recommendations.
- Certification support: Support the Tanium Certification program with day-to-day operations, including Internal Exam voucher requests and daily updates on Master Certification report.
- Partner on key department projects including Career Growth and Development initiatives.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying in psychology, business, or related field.
- Experience with creating and maintaining documentation and filing structures
- Proficient with O365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with analytics
- Interested in corporate learning
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines
- Proactive, can-do collaborator
- Working toward a BA or BS in marketing, communications, advertising, business or related field - ideally with a 3.5+ GPA
- Available to work full-time from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025
- Graduating Spring 2026 or Fall 2025
- Authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future
