Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated team player to join our Compensation Team. As a key member of the Compensation Team, the Employee Stock Plan Administrator will be responsible for the processing of equity transactions in compliance with governing stock plan documents and regulations. This full-time position, reporting into the Apex Compensation Manager, will require you to work with internal and external stakeholders and provide accurate and precise work products with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Apex’s equity programs and ensure that all equity transactions are accurately processed and settled in a timely manner
• Reconcile transactions, termination dates, tax withholding and reporting, and other items as required
• Maintain daily record keeping of equity data and ensure quality control of the record keeping system
• Generate and review for accuracy recurrent and ad-hoc reports for Finance, Payroll, HR and Legal departments
• Work with vendor for outsourced administration and transactions, focusing on controls, accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain an effective partnership with Finance, Tax, Payroll and HR departments to effect transaction processing
• Communicate plan provisions to employees and resolve employee concerns as appropriate
• Assist with creating and presenting employee educational videos, live webinars, and general training materials
• Identify, develop and implement processes and procedures to automate, streamline and improve stock administration functions

Basic Qualifications:

• 1-2 years in stock administration for a U.S-based private/public company
• Comprehensive understanding of the different types of equity awards and private/public company equity programs
• Experience working with external equity vendors/platforms (Certent, Carta,etc)
• Strong analytical acumen; attention to detail; and advanced verbal/written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues
• Strong Proficiency with Excel
• Experience leading equity training programs for managers and broader staff

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years in stock administration for a U.S-based private/public company
• Level 1+ Certified Equity Professional (CEP) or in the process of obtaining certification
• Experience with external equity benchmark surveys and setting company wide equity paybands/ranges
• Experience with SOX compliance requirements as it pertains to Stock/Equity programs and disclosures
• Experience with Workday: HCM, TA, Advanced Comp
