Embedded Software Engineer

  • As a member of the System Engineering & Integration (SEI) TEST team, you'll be pivotal in ensuring seamless Requirements and Test traceability for our cutting-edge embedded systems.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams including Vehicle Development, System Design & Mission Assurance, Advance Hardware Engineering, and Program Management Office to identify and incorporate essential requirements and test cases across all stages of the V-model lifecycle.
  • Take charge of defining, developing, and executing test cases for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) & Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing, utilizing sophisticated models, simulations, and bench environments to validate system functionality, performance, and safety.
  • Drive efficiency and consistency by developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for HIL and SIL testing, enabling streamlined and reliable testing processes.
  • Analyze test outcomes meticulously, offering insightful feedback to the development team to foster enhancements in product design, performance, and reliability.
  • Lead collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, ensuring comprehensive requirements and test coverage align with project timelines and milestones.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive industry experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise with 3+ years in vehicle automotive systems validation, particularly in power management and body electronics systems.
  • Proven ability in hands-on debugging of system issues spanning multiple ECUs.
  • Experience working with both Low Voltage and High Voltage systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, adept at working within diverse teams and engaging stakeholders across various disciplines.
  • Proficiency in basic issue management and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools.
  • Solid skills in requirements traceability, with experience using Polarion Software.
  • Core competencies in CANalyzer, CANape, FMEA, DVP&R, HIL, Automotive Diagnostics, Python, and PyTest Framework.

Salary Range: $100,000-130,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
