Embedded Software Engineer

Join A Society Group, Inc. as an Embedded Software Engineer, where your expertise will contribute to innovative solutions in vehicle functionalities and body controls. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for electronic components in North American truck products.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with global technology teams to monitor the progress of platform development. You will engage in extensive discussions with Tier-1 suppliers and ensure compliance with project schedules, addressing any issues that arise during component integration.

Key tasks encompass:

• Adhering to level 4 time plan activities and milestones.
• Managing component installations for Body ECUs.
• Collaborating with the truck integration team to resolve component-related issues.
• Addressing defect reports and following the prescribed resolution process.
• Documenting software configurations for various variants and managing the ESW release process.
• Utilizing CANalyzer tools for log file analysis and troubleshooting.
• Downloading software using factory and engineering tools.
• Conducting initial smoke tests on benches before integration.
• Participating in PI planning to break down features into stories and tasks.
• Conducting vehicle troubleshooting and debugging as necessary.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in embedded systems.

- Prior experience in the automotive industry is strongly preferred.

- Proficiency with CANalyzer and related tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
