Overview:

The Email and Web Developer is an extremely detail-oriented professional who uses HTML to code creative deliverables for Oracle clients. (This is not an Oracle software UI/UX role – this Developer works with Oracle clients only.) Balancing innovative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person is responsible for the successful translation of concepts into bulletproof code across email, mobile, social and web channels, controlling quality for multiple clients in a busy environment. They stay abreast of technology and contribute to industry developments and advancements, securing both their own and Oracle’s positions as best-in-class.
Responsibilities:
· Produce hand-coded HTML files from Design files(Adobe, Sketch, etc) utilizing a combination of nested table structures and inline CSS
· Test files across multiple platforms, browsers and email clients (Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)
· Support Site-building within Oracle platforms (HCM)
· Collaborate with designers to create flexible layouts that accommodate dynamic content
· Create input forms with jQuery-based validation
· Maintain a high level of attention to detail
· Complete projects on time, meeting deadlines established with team
· Collaborate with cross-discipline team members
· Take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies
Preferred skills
- 3-5 years of professional hands on programming experience.
- Proven, hands on work experience with javascript and jQuery
- Solid HTML skills - must be comfortable using just a text editor.
- Understanding of working from designers' files using Adobe and other design programs.
- Comfortable on Macs or PCs.
- Experience coding email campaigns.
- Version control knowledge (git, github, gitlab) how to work in the command line
- Strong understanding of CSS and SCSS
- Good understanding of CMS (content management systems) like WordPress
- Experience in email marketing and or online retail is also a plus.
Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $24.62 to $48.03 per hour; from: $51,200 to $99,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
