Excellent training and career development opportunitiesThe Electronics Test Technician RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, and validating a range of electronic assemblies and products to ensure they meet quality, performance, and customer requirements.

Working closely with engineering and production teams, you will play a key role in identifying faults, supporting product quality, and ensuring all units are tested to the highest standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional testing of PCBs, electronic assemblies, and finished products
Diagnose and fault-find down to component level where required
Use a range of test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Record and report test results accurately
Identify, investigate, and resolve production faults
Follow test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation
Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the production environment
Work collaboratively with assembly and engineering teams to resolve technical issuesSkills & ExperienceEssential
Previous experience in an electronics testing or electronics technician role
Ability to fault-find electronic circuits and assemblies
Experience using electronic test equipment
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solvingDesirable
Component-level fault-finding experience
Experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment
Understanding of PCB assembly processes
Knowledge of IPC standards
