What you'll do...

  • Lead Systems Engineering and Connected Vehicle team as part of Quality and OPD Department.
  • Act as SPOC for all connected vehicle data and Systems related quality issues for all high voltage systems with Hybrid and Electric Vehicles applications.
  • Provide support to EPE Quality and OPD organization with systems level expertise for high voltage hardware and software, vehicle data gathering, data tools and DTC/DID analysis.
  • Lead Vehicle level testing for quick resolution of all current model quality issues impacting high voltage systems.
  • Owner of GCP Project for OPD contextual data and grants all permissions for new users and sponsor of all projects / sites.
  • Lead weekly review of GCQIS metrics based on team report triage and leading indicators to support EPE Quality cadence and QOS.
  • Lead Weekly WSM meeting w/ FCSD, also help coordinate SSM/TSB releases.
  • Support White Alert Contextual data analysis.
  • Lead approval of special tools and methods for cross vehicle applications to improve diagnostics and reduce cost per repair.
  • Support pre-approval of BEV HV battery orders


     

You'll have...

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical
  • Experience in High Voltage Systems with some experience at the component level
  • Extensive experience working with cloud based connected vehicle data
  • Good working knowledge of Ford Quality process and Tools is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skill

Even better, you may have...

  • Master degree Preferred
  • Experience with data gathering methods and tools including Canalyzer, contextual data analysis, Quench, IVS and QUIP/Token data
  • Demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills to work with different teams
  • Strong problem solving skills - G8D, DMAIC
