Electrician Maintenance

Job Details:

ELECTRICIAN

            Electrical and mechanical experience preferred

  To operate and maintain motor circuits and to maintain a safe electrical environment with

in the plant.

Maintains and repairs of 110/240/480 volt AC monitor and DC drive system. Have the knowledge and ability to read schematics, the use of all electrical hand tools and equipment. Estimate and design basic electrical systems. Perform any/all duties to maintain the welfare of the plant. Assist in the training of new personnel and assist other team members in case of emergencies or during slack time and inform supervisor of any mechanical breakdown or problem. You must keep work area clean and safe. Maintain constant communication with control room operator/supervisor/team members via 2-way radio. Complete all necessary documentation and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. The Quality Assurance guidelines must be followed at all times.

.        Must have good hand-eye coordination
            2.        Capable of moving equipment, machinery, etc. in excess of 40 pounds when needed.        
            3.        Must be able to work on and inspect equipment, which may involve bending, turning,                               stooping, twisting, and climbing.
            4.        Must be able to move freely throughout the plant over and around equipment, people and

                        other obstacles.                                                           

5.       Must be able to tolerate climates ranging form very cold to very hot and form very

          wet to very dry.
7.       No beards allowed for safety reasons.
8.       Must be able to communicate and get along well with others.

            9.       Must be able to climb ladders
            10.     Must be able to reach, lift and work overhead

            11.     Must be able to walk, stand or sit for the duration of the shift

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and providing technical support for machine systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
