Your Skills and Expertise 

• Responds to Shop Work Orders in performing maintenance and repair tasks in a safe manner

• Implements and improves preventive maintenance procedures

• Determines parts, tools, and supplies necessary for the jobs

• Documents work activities in the work order SAP

• Willingness to learn and expand craft skills

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license

• Three (3) years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

• Ability to work overtimes, weekends, short notice coverage as business arise, rotating shifts (1st – 2nd), and holidays as needed.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to obtain Wisconsin Journeyman electrician license within established period OR possess a current and valid Wisconsin Journeyman electrician certificate or license

• Experience working with PLCs and Process Controls

• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals and troubleshooting problems to make adjustments and repairs

• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with other people

• Basic computer knowledge

Pay & Benefits: 

• The starting rate of pay for this position is $34.29 + Shift differential. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
