Summary of Job Duties:

The Electrician II is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures within the campus. This role requires a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. May work on campus generators and maintain associated records. This position is also responsible for leading electrical teams’ large projects.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Masters Journeyman Electrician License according to ACA 17-28-304

• The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

• At least seven years of experience in electrical trade

• Valid Driver's License in good standings

• At least one year of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least eight years experience in electrical installation, maintenance and repairs

• Successful completion of an Electrical Apprentice Program

• Experience in control technology – fire alarms, access control, and cameras
