Position Summary
Job Functions:- Knowledgeable in PLCs, A/C & D/C Drives, Servo Drives, Motion Controls, Burner Controls (Siemens, Rexroth, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi).
- Understands the process of troubleshooting complex systems and assemblies.
- Acts as the primary response for production and facility equipment related emergencies including but not limited to climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage and repairs.
- May act as the project coordinator for all size projects including large scale repair and facility projects.
- Assists with mechanical functionality and immediately responds to production emergencies.
- Monitors and replaces light bulbs in and around the Alpharetta facility, as needed.
- Performs construction electrical work.
- Timely completes all job function related paper work including but not limited to Work Orders, Shift log entries, Shift Detail cards, requisitions and Managed Inventory logs.
- Overtime as required.
- Performs housekeeping and cleaning duties necessary to maintain functional work space integrity.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors and vendors.
- Self-starter and team player.
- Must be organized and provide deliverables in support of project plans.
- Certificate by trade school or equivalent work experience related to industrial electrical maintenance a plus.
- Must have basic understanding of how things work (process-related).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multi-functional tasks.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and against strict time constraints.
- Ability to use specialized test/diagnostic equipment, powered and non-powered tools.
- Must have a valid GA Drivers License
- Must be able to travel to various work-site locations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend specification manuals.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people with varying levels of education, expertise and backgrounds.
Qualifications
EducationMust have a high school diploma or equivalency.
