To provide technical authority & technical support to ensure the Site complies with all relevant GSK & national standards.

In this role you will:
- Provides Technical oversight & Technical Authority for approval of all Electrical installations and modifications including Capital project activity.
- Create and implement Electrical strategy for the site through the Interpretation and application of GSK Engineering standards & all relevant UK standards.
- Train, develop and mentor Electrical team members to ensure that their skills and knowledge are developed to support all customer requirements for projects, continuous improvements and breakdowns.
- Develop the site Electrical maintenance strategy to ensure adherence to GSK Engineering standards & all relevant UK standards.
- Liaise with Engineering Shared Service to ensure compliance is met on site and facilitate any L3/L4 regulatory inspections.
- Supervise LV & HV maintenance activities associated with 3rd party suppliers to ensure safe working practices are adhered to in accordance with GSK Engineering standards & all relevant UK standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical engineering, or closely related subject.
- Senior Authorised Person.
- Extensive experience in the chemical industry in a Senior Engineer role.
- Extensive previous leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Green Belt OR Orange belt training
- Fully familiar with cGMP, FDA, MHRA requirements.
- Fully familiar with corporate Engineering policies and guidelines.
