Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Harness Design Engineer. In this role, you will support integration of all aspects of electrical systems; integrate source data from Vehicle Systems, Mission Systems, and Weapon Systems design teams into the entire aircraft using applicable tools to meet harness design requirements; create wire schematics and diagrams to document the harness configuration; and create Build-to-Packages for detail parts, assemblies, and installations.

The successful candidate will have experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams, and experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or an equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
-Experience creating electrical schematics and/or wiring diagrams
-Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent electronic computer-aided design (CAD) tools
-Hands-on experience with aircraft modifications

Desired skills

-Highly desirable experience in electrical harness design and installation
-Experience working in small teams supporting full system development lifecycle, from concept through testing
-Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly, fabrication, and installation methods and processes
-Experience with aircraft harness, wiring, or cable design and schematics
-Experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or equivalent
-Active Secret Clearance
