We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about flight control products, enjoys working with a team of talented developers, and who is eager to take on big challenges. Collins Aerospace is proud to be providing flight control products to major commercial aircraft programs.  As part of this team, you will be exposed to a broad spectrum of flight control technologies and have the ability to significantly contribute to our award winning products. This position is onsite, based out of our Cedar Rapids, IA site location; may be eligible for relocation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with exceptional, highly experienced hardware engineers in the design, verification and support of flight control products.

  • Participate in the creation and review of new product design and associated documentation for new programs

  • Perform troubleshooting of electronic circuit boards, sub-assemblies and modules.

  • Provide factory support in troubleshooting production problems

What You Need:

  • Working knowledge of analog and/or high speed digital circuits

  • Proficiency with standard test equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, together with experience in troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry.

  • Self-starter that can work in a highly cross functional environment

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract
