Position Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in battery system design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing battery storage systems for residential and commercial applications. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, battery technologies, and energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop battery storage systems, including system architecture, component selection, and integration with solar PV systems.
• Conduct technical analysis and simulations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of battery systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver integrated energy solutions.
• Perform detailed electrical design calculations, including load analysis, power distribution, and energy efficiency assessments.
• Create and review technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation guides.
• Oversee the testing, validation, and troubleshooting of battery systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in battery technology, energy storage systems, and relevant industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams and customers during system deployment and maintenance.
• Participate in the development and refinement of company standards and best practices for battery system design and implementation.

Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in battery system design, energy storage, or a related field.
• Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, PSpice) and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of battery technologies (Li-ion, lead-acid, etc.), charge controllers, and inverters.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (e.g., NEC, UL, IEEE) for battery and energy storage systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
