Electrical Engineer Associate

Our work depends on an Engineer Associate joining our team to support Navy research, development, test, and evaluation of hardware and software used n US Navy electromagnetic technology as it pertains to US Navy ships, submarines, and small craft.

HOW AN ENGINEER ASSOCIATE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Designs, evaluates, plans, tests, and operates electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or computer components, equipment and systems
● Works collaboratively with team members to provide support to the fleet
● Performs maintenance and repair of systems and prepares systems for shipment, installation and use to measurement objectives
● Perseverance in realizing solutions result in a safer and better prepared fleet.
●Prior experience with application of software and middleware to accommodate data collection is directly applicable.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
● Required Experience: 0+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Fundamental electrical skills sets and good engineering practices required

● Security Clearance Level: SECRET or Ability to Obtain Secret
● Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate with others, work jointly and independently on problem solving, willingness to travel
● Preferred Skills: Prior exposure to Raspberry PI testing
● Location: On Customer Site
●US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
