• BS in Electrical Engineering or a 2-year Technical College degree, and 1+ year of hands-on design experience is required
• Pay is $60,000 to $100,000
• Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
• No remote as this is an onsite only position

This full time, permanent Electrical Engineer - Design opening is at a growing, diverse, custom structural, system and metal component manufacturer. Customers are diverse and include biotechnology, food and pharmaceutical companies. The company promotes from within and does not hold employees back from growing their skillset and careers. Numerous advancement opportunities will exist as the company continues to grow. This smaller company values employees and treats employees well. The company has been in existence for approximately 30 years and employs approximately 100 employees. The company has not experienced a layoff since 2007.

If an employee has the aptitude and drive, they can advance to a project management role. This position is available due to continued company growth due to demand for company products. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:

• Design electrical systems by generating control panel layouts, electrical schematics, and specifying equipment for procurement
• Manage project execution by reviewing drawings and collaborating closely with project managers, designers, and customers
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging strong organizational and management skills
• Primarily work in-house, with travel as needed for Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Requirements

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a 2-year Technical College degree and 1+ years of relevant design experience
• A proficiency or a willingness to gain proficiency with electrical controls and fluid mechanics
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes of Jefferson, WI
