Summary
The Davidson County Election Commission is hiring seasonal Poll Officials for Election Day:Officer--Manages and leads a precinct team, while supporting all of the other Poll Official positions
Special Clerk--Facilitates voting by Provisional ballot
Machine Operator--Prepares voting machine, enabling a voter to cast a ballot
Precinct Registrar--Operates the Electronic Poll Book to verify voter, before voter is sent to voting machine
Reservist--Covers both Machine Operator and Precinct Registrar job duties and is willing to travel to a wide range of locations in Davidson County
Poll Officials are paid $150 per Election Day worked and $30 per mandatory online training class completed.

- Persons working directly under the supervision of an elected official on the ballot

Qualifications
- A registered Davidson County voter (if 18 or older)
- At least 16 years old and a resident of Davidson County
- Must be able to complete mandatory online training
- Must be available to work 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (or until the last voter has voted and all precinct work is completed) on Election Day
- Must provide own transportation to and from training and assigned work location
- Must be able to read and write in the English language
