ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking an Entry Level Technical Control Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO. This is to support the Wing Information and Communication Support (WICS 2) Technical Control Facility (TCF) requirement at Schriever AFB CO. The TCF operators make quality analyses of communications circuits and channels, monitor network and circuit operations and maintenance functions, recognizes and corrects deteriorating conditions, restores disrupted communications, provides requested on-call circuits, and takes or directs such actions as may be required and practical to provide effective telecommunications services for Schiever Space Force Base (SSFB).

As a TCF Analyst you will plan, evaluate, design, and coordinate installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication networks such as local area (LAN), wide area (WAN), and virtual private networks (VPN), etc. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, etc. Provide regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house and cloud-based systems. Be able to make decisions to maintain critical network and communications repair or alt-routing without supervision. May coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment. May design a network or a portion of a network that includes the selection and recommendation of hardware and software packages.
Additional Workload and Cross-Utilization Responsibilities:
This position includes cross-functional duties beyond the standard role. The TCF will provide after-hours support for both the Global Broadcast Operations Center (GBOC) and the Space Defense Interface Network (SDIN). Technicians will be trained to handle these responsibilities, which include fielding user support calls, monitoring system status, and escalating issues to the on-call engineer when necessary.
Requirements:
• Networking Knowledge:
◦ Strong understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.
◦ Experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
◦ Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds and Wireshark
◦ Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
◦ Able to make critical circuit priority judgement independently and equipment/circuit restoral decisions with little or no supervision
• Documentation & Analysis:
◦ Ability to read and interpret network diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
Work Schedule:
• Must be available for rotating shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts rotate on a scheduled basis to maintain 24/7 mission support.
• Flexibility, dependability, and a strong sense of mission focus are essential due to the critical nature of operations.

Preferred Experience:
Candidates with the following are highly desired:
• Experience working in a Technical Control Facility (TCF) or similar mission-critical network environment.
• Familiarity with circuit provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Skilled in cable flows and signal routing, especially in Building 400, MOD 3/4 at Schriever SFB.
• Experience using patch panels, fiber distribution panels, and other cross-connect systems.
• Knowledge of timing and synchronization distribution systems.
• Proficient in using test equipment such as T-BERD or Fireberd for circuit continuity and diagnostics.
• Experience coordinating with DISA, commercial carriers, and documenting circuit status and changes.
• Working knowledge of COMSEC and KG encryptors.
• Familiarity with Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) standards and procedures.
Education and Experience:
• Education:
◦ Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR at least 2 years of applicable experience with at least one of the certifications listed below.
• Certifications:
◦ CompTIA Security+ Required
◦ CompTIA Network+ Preferred
◦ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Preferred
◦ Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA). Preferred
◦ Must meet DoD 8570 requirements (e.g., CompTIA Security+). Preferred

◦ Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
