Job Summary
The OCI Technical Administrator provides expertise in designing, configuring, testing, and supporting enterprise applications and systems. This role bridges technical and functional knowledge to deliver business solutions, optimize workflows, and ensure system stability and scalability. The consultant works with cross-functional teams, translates business requirements into technical solutions, and supports system implementations and upgrades across the enterprise.
In this position, the OCI Technical Administrator is responsible for supporting and administering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments and Oracle Fusion applications. This includes configuring and maintaining OCI services, monitoring performance, managing security and user roles, supporting system patching and upgrades, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize Oracle Cloud solutions. The OCI Technical Administrator will also develop documentation, knowledge articles, and training to support end users and ensure consistent, secure, and efficient use of Oracle Cloud technology.

Essential Functions
- Leads configuration, development, and support for assigned enterprise systems and applications.
- Translates business requirements into technical designs and implements functional solutions.
- Supports system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Conducts troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning for complex application issues.
- Partners with IT and business stakeholders to align systems with organizational strategy.
- Develops documentation, testing plans, and training materials to support user adoption and knowledge transfer.
- Mentors junior team members and contributes to best practice frameworks for enterprise systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- 5–7 years of experience in application systems analysis, design, or development required.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level applications and ERP systems preferred.
Additional Position-Specific Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components (VCNs, compute instances, storage, networking, databases), Visual Builder Studio,and APEX development required.
- Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion modules (ERP, HCM, or SCM) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools and security frameworks within OCI.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, security standards, and SaaS-based compliance requirements, particularly in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) preferred.
- Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Fusion Middleware) preferred.
