The Opportunity
The AGI Food Service team is actively seeking a Field Service Technicians to join our growing Food Service Division.
In this role, you will assist in maintaining and /or installing and construction of industrial machinery, up to and including the installation, repair, move or reassembly of machinery at an AGI facility or customer’s site. Also, you will be troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment at the customer’s facility and make the necessary adjustments to bring equipment up to running status.
This is a travelling role across US and Canada. Travel time may exceed 50% at various times of the year and may include weekend/holiday hours.

Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED, or similar equivalent education required.
• 2 + years’ experience operating in field installation services or experience working on construction sites is preferred.
• Experience with forklifts, aerial lifts and other heavy equipment; experience with power tools / hand tools is required.
• Experience with welding, specifically TIG welding stainless steel, sanitary piping or orbital welding is highly preferred, but we will train.
• OSHA 10, Welding Certifications, Aerial Lift License, Forklift License, First Aid/AED licenses required – training provided.
• Ability to work at heights, strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Maintain and follow DOT regulations applicable to AGI.
• Knowledge of construction site best practices and safety procedures is preferred.
• Willing to travel to customer sites, sometimes staying for extended periods.
