The Opportunity

As leader of the Project Management Office (PMO) group, your responsibility will be to lead the project delivery managers and strategic vendor partnerships in the execution of multi-disciplined real estate project solutions globally.  This role may require you as leader to directly run key capital projects during peak workload times. While this role is currently posted as US-based, candidates will also be considered at major international Adobe sites.

What you'll do

  • Actively participate as a member of the Global Workplace Delivery leadership team, responsible for delivering real estate solutions and innovative workspaces across Adobe's global real estate portfolio
  • Lead a team of project management professionals as they run the successful delivery from consultant onboarding thru design, construction and closeout, of our workplaces
  • Establish scalable resourcing model using internal project managers and external vendor resources to achieve project goals
  • Consult, guide and direct project management team to address project challenges and setbacks to ensure on time and on schedule project delivery
  • Develop and innovate the processes, systems and tools required to ensure consistent project delivery
  • Monitor and report on project delivery metrics, and take necessary corrective actions when required
  • Provide necessary project cost data to key partners (cashflow projections, Capex estimates, Opex timing)
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated and establish governance protocol to ensure compliance to Adobe policies
  • Partner closely with Adobe procurement and legal departments to establish project delivery models and contracting strategies and lead change order negotiations and contract compliance
  • Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
  • Partners with peers and key Adobe stakeholders and outside partners (architects, engineers, project management firms, construction firms to ensure effective stewardship of Adobe resources in the design and delivery of projects

What you need to succeed

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing people resources (employees and vendors)
  • 10+ years of experience in real estate, architecture, construction management and project management
  • Experience working in a multifaceted high-tech environment. Ability to be agile and ready to adjust on short notice
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in any field. Construction management, architecture, engineering degrees a plus
  • Experience in conceptualizing, project planning, design development and project management of corporate real estate assets. Direct corporate design/construction project management experience
  • Great communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to produce and deliver executive presentations, project status reports and communicate deliverables to all collaborators and senior management
  • Ability to translate ideas and capabilities into effective initiatives
  • Excellent leadership and strategic skills in prioritizing evolving initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $130,600 -- $239,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
