H4 Business Transformation (BT) is the transformation and innovation engine of the Allianz Group. It follows on the ambition to capture the so far unexploited opportunities of the digitally mature customer by adjusting the current business models and scaling best in class practices globally. 
The Allianz Product Lab (APL) serves as a central tool for product specification and development of the core business model for Allianz, thereby pushing a digital solution that accommodates simplicity and harmonization of our product portfolio and processes (via Allianz Customer Model) and promoting superior customer experience throughout the Group. It hosts a framework to steer, govern, and document the entire Product Development process. Furthermore, it hosts  Master Products and acts as starting point for product configuration in the global business master platform (BMP). As a class-1 group standard for product specification, APL consists of five main functions. First, a web-application called Global Offer Specification Tool (GOST) that allows users to design, specify and manage different insurance product offers – from products to claims to pricing values – in a fully digital, reusable and harmonized way. Second, Product Development Tool (PDT) extension which steers, governs, and documents the entire product development process with its phases and quality gates in a fully harmonized way. Third, Meta-Model which represents a harmonized data model that defines the architecture of an insurance product and its relations to different product elements. Fourth, Element Library which hosts a collection of harmonized and reusable products and claims values for insurance product configuration. Lastly, structured data exports that transfer product specification published in GOST to IT systems like BMP.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

The role specifically centers around the global roll-out of the Allianz Product Lab (APL) and Product Development Tool (PDT), maintaining a strong focus on Product harmonization and development. There is strong emphasis on relationship management and organizational tasks across both the APL and PDT areas.

What you will do:

• Manage stakeholders globally and execute organizational tasks which allow for continuous information flow (schedule meetings, structure agendas, prepare presentations, record meeting minutes)
• Assist in the planning and execution of APL and PDT Roll-out plans for different Allianz entities and Business Units in various countries. 
• Contribute to the OE Onboarding process (assist in the design, execution and management of APL and PDT training, upskilling activities and learning platforms) 
• Act as a point of reference for communication between the Product Owner and IT team (managing OE requests and contribute to the thinking behind subsequent tool development). 
• Maintenance and storage of APL- and PDT-related documents, ensuring Confluence and Connect pages present the most recent information 
• Support in interpretation and presentation of Data; APL Dashboard, OE Feedback 
• Maintain and grow APL Community 
• Assist in ad-hoc tasks from other Team Members

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

• Master or bachelor student in a relevant field of studies with strong academic achievements (enrolled at university for the whole period of employment)
• Experience from prior internship or job in Insurance industry or having worked in a successful start-up environment. Experience in Marketing is a plus. 
• Fluency in English is required, additional languages are plus 
• IT skills (MS Office applications): Proficient use of office application tools e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word
•  Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
• Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year
