Job Description

Your Career

As a member of our Internet Security infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing large scale backend systems. You will participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle from definition, design, through implementation and test. Work closely with security researchers, product managers on new feature requests, QA and DevOps on testing and deployment plans, other engineering teams on all kinds of collaboration.

This role is located at our dynamic Santa Clara California headquarters campus, in the office 3 days a week.

• Bring new ideas to develop security disciplines to solve real-world problems
• Develop key security research infrastructure for researchers and security services
• Establish a clear technical and architectural vision for key projects
• Mentor your fellow engineering members
• Promote best practices such as design reviews, code reviews, secure coding and performance tuning
• Push engineering boundaries, coming up with high quality, simple solutions to complex engineering and product problems
• Maintain and cultivate high quality in terms of engineering practices, code quality, and work/foster a culture of engineering excellence, and dynamic execution

Qualifications

Your Experience 

• Solid CS fundamentals, as well as networking and operating systems knowledge
• Hands-on programming experience in Python and/or Golang
• Strong grasp on data structures and algorithms
• Experience with any public cloud platform, GCP preferred
• Knowledge of data processing tools such as Apache Beam, BigQuery, Dataflow
• Knowledge of SQL and No-SQL DB technologies such as MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis Experience with queuing systems like PubSub,RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Experience or knowledge of web crawling and LLM is a plus
• BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent military experience required

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $123,000 - $160,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
