About the Role

Physical Education teachers at Chesterbrook Academy have the opportunity to inspire a love of fitness, health, and teamwork in our students through engaging and developmentally appropriate physical education programming. You will lead students in physical activity, sportsmanship, and healthy habits while cultivating a positive and inclusive environment for all learners.

You will also…
• Plan and lead structured PE lessons for elementary and/or middle school students
• Promote physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, and teamwork
• Organize games, athletic events, and fitness challenges that meet developmental needs
• Ensure student safety and proper use of equipment
• Collaborate with other school staff on field days, special events, and school-wide initiatives
• Communicate with parents and guardians to support student growth and engagement

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field from an accredited college or university
Teaching certification (preferred)
• Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for promoting physical health and wellness
