Danfoss is hiring a 3rd Shift CNC Machinist at our Van Wert, OH facility. This position involves setting up machines, measuring and validating programs, and operating machine tools to perform precise, repetitive machining tasks within strict tolerances. You will actively contribute to and help meet the strategic goals set by yourself, the facility, and Danfoss. The pay range for this role is $22.22 to $31.12 per hour, depending on experience and education, plus a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Multiple shifts are currently available. Candidates must have prior CNC or machining experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

o Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) according to production requirements.

o Load raw materials into the machine and initiate the machining process.

o Monitor the machine operations to detect malfunctions or errors.

o Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.

o Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify product dimensions.

What You'll Get from Us

 

· A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or vocational training in CNC machining or a related field is strongly preferred.
· Prior experience as a CNC machine operator or in a comparable position is highly advantageous.
· Must be capable of standing for long durations and repeatedly lifting heavy materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
