KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Punch List Coordinator to support the multi-billion-dollar Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year.  The facility’s location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans.  This project is expected to be a multi-phase project spanning multiple years.

Aligning with KBR’s commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

The Punch list Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project by managing and tracking punch list items to ensure all outstanding issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.  This role will need someone with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with various teams, this will be essential in achieving project milestones and delivering a high-quality facility.

 Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to compile, review, and update the punch list
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and document deficiencies, defects, and non-compliance issues
• Ensure that punch list items are accurately described, categorized, and assigned to the appropriate responsible parties
• Prioritize and track the resolution of punch items to ensure timely completion and compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements
• Maintain clear and concise records of punch list status, tracking progress, and documenting completion dates
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to address punch list items related to their scope of work
• Communicate effectively with various teams to provide updates on punches list statues, potential delays, and other relevant information
• Verify and validate the satisfactory completion of punches list items through thorough inspections and quality control checks
• Prepare reports and summaries for project management, highlighted punch list progress, bottlenecks, and resolutions
• Assist in coordinating final inspection and acceptance of the project, ensuring that all punch list items are addressed before project handover

Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Punch List Coordinator or similar role in large-scale construction projects, preferably within the energy or LNG sector
• Proficiency in using construction management software such as Co-Console, Smart Completion, MCplus and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, standards, and regulations
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple punch list items simultaneously

Additional Qualifications:

• In lieu of formal education 12 + years working experience in Construction Management, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field and 4 + years of directly related experience
