<p><strong>Work Location: </strong>Hybrid work model in Paris, France</p> <p><strong>Work Schedule: </strong>Up to 8 hours per week (task allotment is subject to task availability) </p> <p><strong>Engagement Model: </strong>Freelance / Independent contractor</p> <p><strong>Position Duration: </strong>ca. 1 year</p> <p><strong>Start Date: </strong>ASAP</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Role Summary</strong></p> <p>DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a freelance Project Support Admin to work on one of our video data projects in Paris, France. This role will be a hybrid of remote and onsite work, with the onsite work being regularly necessary to troubleshoot and address issues with the devices used in this project. </p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Role Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitoring the progress of 3 device stations at our project site (phones and computers), ensuring that they are functioning smoothly and all project tasks are running according to the planned schedule, avoiding unnecessary downtime.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintaining and troubleshooting devices using step-by-step guidelines, e.g. rebooting devices, installing apps, reconnecting devices to a VPN.</li></ul> <ul> <li>Communication and collaboration with internal team members and external project participants, providing updates on the status of each of the device stations to the project team.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Quality Assurance: spot checking videos recorded in this project to ensure that the level of quality meets our requirements and intervening in case of any issues.</li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <p><strong>Role Requirements – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p> <ul><li>Location in Paris, France</li><li>Own Mac computer to use for work on this project</li><li>Advanced English language proficiency</li><li>Confident user of MacOS, iOS and Android devices</li><li>Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and to run documented Python scripts (no coding will be required)</li><li>Familiarity with Excel Spreadsheets and Data Entry</li><li>Analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving approach to tasks</li><li>Great teamwork and collaboration skills</li></ul> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p> <ul><li>Studies in Engineering, Information Technology or similar are a plus</li><li>Previous experience e.g. in Tech Support or other roles with similar responsibilities is a plus</li></ul> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Who we are</strong><br/></p> <p>DataForce is part of the TransPerfect family of companies, the world’s largest provider of language and technology solutions for global business with offices in more than 100 cities worldwide.</p> <p>For more information about us, please visit our website: <a href="https://www.transperfect.com/dataforce" rel="noopener">https://www.transperfect.com/dataforce</a><br/></p>
