Assistant Coach, Tennis

As the assistant tennis coach, you will help the head coach in all aspects of running the varsity tennis program for SCAD Atlanta. Responsibilities include recruiting prospective student-athletes, planning and executing practices, scheduling travel with the team to tournaments and matches, and driving vans to practices and competitions.

Minimum Qualifications:     

• Bachelor’s degree or professional tennis experience
• Must be capable of driving a 12- to 15-passenger van

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Budget management

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

• Valid driver’s license

Travel Required:

• 10% to 20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
