Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developed User Acceptance Test for Solid State Drive (SSD) features and debug infrastructure
• Developed unit tests using python to validate the debug infrastructure for Gen5 SSD products.
• Coordination with cross-functional teams for the smooth deployment of new features in SSD validation.
• Design, Develop and Validate Gen5 SSD Debug Infrastructure Solutions.
• First Level Failure Analysis for Gen5 Debug Features and Lab deployments
• Develop Test Monitor Firmware Framework Use cases
• Develop and Execute Debug Features User Acceptance Tests for Gen5 Enterprise and Client SSD product.
• Support WD Internal Debug tools plugin development for Code Coverage project
• Review, reproduce Validation Lab deployments on-going issues with Debug Infrastructure.
• Contribute, review Innovation forums work items.

Qualifications

Technical skills to include a minimum of 3 of the following skillsets: 

• Scripting Tools: Python
• Programming Languages: Python, Linux, C Language
• Algorithms development for verification
• SSD & NVMe Knowledge is an added plus
• Python Development, Debug/FA Design/Dev/Integration
• AWS Tasks and Automation
• Firmware Code Development | Debug/FA Integration/Validation
