About the Role

As a key member of AESC US LLC, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to lead in full-value-chain battery solutions for a sustainable future. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting for AESC with a consultative approach to ensure the company is hiring the best possible talent across the organization. This is achieved through developing and maintaining recruiting strategies and processes that support the current and future needs of AESC.  

Your Team

You will be reporting directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager, who brings extensive knowledge of AESC and Talent Acquisition initiatives. You will collaborate closely with a group of dedicated professionals, each contributing their unique skills and expertise to our collective success. What You Will Do 

  • Lead Talent Acquisition Initiatives:  Using market intelligence, consult and influence senior leadership, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders to develop strategic hiring plans, sourcing, and selection strategies.  Seek creative solutions for sourcing candidates and leverage recruiting resources such as professional organizations, social media, and community associations to attract, engage and recruit candidates. Attends and participates in college recruiting events.
  • Drive Process Optimization:  Prescreen candidates and recommend top talent for the hiring team. Schedule interviews for the hiring team as necessary due to volume spikes. Maintain applicant tracking system and internal systems with up-to-date information, jobs, job specifications, job descriptions, marketing collateral, etc. Partner with marketing/communications team to update and maintain talent branding on Glassdoor, Indeed and all related recruiting systems. Responsible for promoting and maintaining fair employment practices. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employments laws and regulations, and compliancy policies.
  • Interface with Stakeholders:  Collaborate with hiring managers and human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Oversee onboarding processes to ensure accuracy and an exceptional experience for candidates and new hires.
  • Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Maintain a solid understanding of industry trends and provide insight into the competitive landscape.

What You Need

  • Proven Experience & Educational Background: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in Talent Acquisition, showcasing a track record of achieving key objectives and driving impactful results. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, providing the foundational knowledge required to excel in this role. Automotive, manufacturing or experience successfully recruiting niche technical talent is required. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools, ensuring the ability to navigate and contribute effectively to our dynamic work environment.
