What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the automotive facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for potential security-related concerns or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client procedures.
• Assist with visitor and contractor management processes, including verifying identification and providing guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card or license is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
