Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Price-to-Win Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals with our Strategy and Growth organization to support emerging programs. This role is located in Melbourne, FL or El Segundo, CA. Remote/hybrid may be considered if there is ability to travel to participate in regular, on-site activities and for highly qualified candidates.

This role is essential in driving our competitive pricing strategies, ensuring our proposals are both compelling and competitive in the market. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated pricing models that accurately reflect the competitive landscape, enabling us to anticipate and counter competitor strategies, positioning Northrop Grumman as the preferred choice for our customers.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Aircraft Price-to-Win – Develop, support, and deliver timely, compelling PTW products and recommendations to priority NGAS captures, including Top-Down and Bottoms-Up methodologies
  • Competitive Analysis – Conduct competitive assessments to inform pricing strategies, analyzing competitor capabilities and pricing to provide recommendations and guidance to emerging programs
  • Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business management, supply chain, and business development to synthesize and interpret data for competitive analysis
  • Leadership and Communication – Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, articulating complex pricing strategies in a clear and compelling manner

This hire may be made at either the Level 3 or Level 4 depending upon candidate qualifications, experience, skills and knowledge.

Basic Qualifications – A3

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline and 4 years of related professional/military experience; Master’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the needs of the business
  • Experience in developing cost research models for aerospace systems
  • Working knowledge of cost modeling software and tools (e.g., Excel, Truplanning, SEER, etc.) and parametric modeling methods

Basic Qualifications – A4

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline and 7 years of related professional/military experience; Master’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the needs of the business
  • Familiarity with competitive contracting and acquisition processes
  • Advanced working knowledge of cost modeling software and tools (e.g., Excel, Truplanning, SEER, etc.) and parametric modeling methods

Preferred Qualifications

  • PTW or cost analysis experience in support of significant aircraft captures
  • Experience supporting Design-to-Cost, Life-Cycle Cost analysis, preparing proposal cost volumes or Basis of Estimate
