Position Summary: 

Assists LRL Coordinator in daily operations in the Learning Resource Library


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

· Assists patrons throughout the library and circulation desk.

· Assists with book processing, labels, and/or laminating new book acquisitions.

· Assists with Story Time, including preparation, organization, and supervision of the Story Time.

· Maintains & closely monitors inventory of supplies that are kept on hand for student use/purchase.

· Perform tasks and special projects as assigned by the Learning Resource Library Coordinator.

· Collaborates, as needed, with faculty & staff in FHU’s Education dept.

· Assists with in-house marketing & promotion of LRL services and resources.

· Along with the LRL Coordinator, shares oversight of LRL student staffers. 

· Participates in instructional programming and library promotion. 

· Assists in fulfilling daily operations of the Learning Resource Library including, but not limited to: assisting patrons, shelving books, circulation, reading shelves, completing orders for die cuts and lamination.

Education and/or Experience   

Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills   

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present informati
