Cloud Services Systems Administrator

The Cloud Services Systems Administrator should be well-versed in networking, cybersecurity, backups/DR/BCP/runbook processes and technology, system monitoring software, vCenter/VMWare, general Windows Server administration, and related admin tools in an enterprise environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain backup/DR/BCP/runbook processes and technology.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct regular system maintenance and upgrades.
• Administer Windows servers and related admin tools in an enterprise environment.
• Manage vCenter/VMWare infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance of the network.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve network infrastructure.

Competencies

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5 years of equivalent experience in information technology.
• Strong knowledge of networking and firewalls, network security, backup/DR/BCP/runbook processes and technology, monitoring software, general Windows system administration and related admin tools in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with vCenter/VMWare.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with public cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS are a plus.
• Experience working with SQL databases is a plus.
