Position Overview:
The Manager of Kitchen Equipment Programs & Partnerships is responsible for leading Dutch Bros’ equipment supplier network to support 150+ new store openings annually. This role ensures that Kitchen Equipment Supplier (KES) partnerships are equipped to scale, maintain redundancy, support on-time execution, and deliver consistent quality and service across all markets.
The Manager of Kitchen Equipment Programs & Partnerships will lead the development, implementation, and refinement of SOPs across supplier selection, onboarding, testing, distribution strategy, installation workflows, and partner performance tracking. You will coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Construction, Design, and Ops Services to drive efficiency, cost savings, and delivery excellence. This role is also responsible for reviewing KES invoices, managing inventory allocations, and monitoring cost impacts across the supply chain.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Operations, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience (5+ years in a directly related role).
5–7+ years of experience in supply chain, vendor management, or equipment program operations.
Proven experience managing external partnerships, vendor SLAs, and cross-functional initiatives (especially in construction, hospitality, or food/beverage industries).
Experience with procurement or project management systems (e.g., here).
Experience in the QSR (quick service restaurant), retail, or multi-unit franchise space.
Experience launching or scaling equipment programs for new builds/expansion.
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Supplier Strategy & Operational Oversight
Oversee and scale Kitchen Equipment Supplier (KES) partnerships to support Dutch Bros’ growth trajectory
Ensure supplier redundancy to mitigate risk and avoid construction delays due to performance, availability, or capacity issues
Develop and manage KPI scorecards for KES partners with regular business reviews and accountability checkpoints
SOP & Process Development
Lead the creation, implementation, and continual improvement of SOPs for:
Project reporting for key partner visibility
Equipment onboarding and transitions
RFP, tests, selection and roll out processes for KES partners
Installation coordination workflows
Project close out documentation
Project Execution & Timeline Management
Coordinate with Construction, Procurement, Design, and Ops Services to ensure end-to-end alignment from equipment sourcing to installation
Develop and manage SLA’s between the KES and Construction relationships
Project manage major equipment transitions or new partner implementations
Monitor execution to ensure timeline expectations are met and resolution of equipment-related delays
Inventory Management
Manage visibility into equipment inventory held by partners and align with store opening forecasts
Prevent shortages or delays by ensuring proactive inventory management and distribution planning
Manage and maintain reporting at appropriate cadence to ensure accuracy and appropriate visibility
Cost Management & Financial Oversight
Review and approve KES invoices, ensuring contract compliance and alignment with scope of work
Partner with KES to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities that maintain or improve quality, delivery timelines, and overall value
Collaborate with Procurement and Construction to monitor equipm
