JOB OVERVIEW 

We are currently seeking a strong Senior Systems Analyst to play a key role, deliver solutions to our business partners, solve complex problems, and strive to advance and sustain world-class technology platforms.  This position requires strong analytical skills, with a high attention to detail, and a desire to analyze and solve complex problems. This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people across the organization. Excellent organization, communication, and delivery skills are required. This individual must be a team player with a desire and willingness to learn. As a member of the Investor Application Support Team, the Senior Systems Analyst plays a critical role in Wellington’s success by providing continuous support and solutions to the firm’s globally located investors across Asset Allocation, Commodities, Equity, Fixed Income, Macro Analysis and Risk Management. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Interact directly with investment professionals at all levels of the organization as a trusted advisor 

• Answer functional and technical questions from investment professionals about their tools, data, and reports in the areas of research, valuation, risk management, portfolio analysis and portfolio construction

• Respond to requests from our business for ad hoc analysis as well as other information delivery solutions  

• Design, support, improve, and develop data validation and productivity tools and processes  

• Manage production incidents, determining root cause, appropriate corrective actions, and follow-up 

• Proactively identify issues and opportunities for improved methods and approaches to support investment processes 

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Master’s degree in computer science, business, economics, finance, mathematical finance, or related subject  

• With two years of business analysis or systems analysis experience in trading, investment management, or financial services environment 

• Or a bachelor’s degree in related subject
