The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling, coordination, and control of production activities within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production processes run efficiently, materials are available when needed, and finished goods meet quality standards. The Production Control Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining production schedules, minimizing downtime, and ensuring timely delivery of products

• Develop and maintain production schedules in coordination with the Production Manager and other departments.
• Monitor production progress to ensure that schedules are met and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes in production.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure materials and components are available for production.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply for production needs.
• Work closely with the inventory control team to manage stock levels and reorder materials as necessary.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure that all production activities adhere to quality control standards and that any issues are addressed promptly.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including work orders, inventory levels, and production output.
• Generate regular reports on production status, efficiency, and any issues encountered.
• Use production data to identify trends, forecast production needs, and recommend improvements.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in production control, manufacturing operations, or a similar role.
• Experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and process improvement is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
