Job Description

Interns will have the opportunity to work with the IT Department and gain experience with the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure. Interns will learn some of the preparations of building a corporate network from the ground up, learn corporate IT security policies and procedures, and learn skills to provide excellent customer service through the use of technology. Requirements and skills are as follows:

• Strong interest in the media and/or technology industry
• Commitment to building an inclusive work environment
• Ability to multitask and highly organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous internship experience or on-campus leadership/projects a plus
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for creating and maintaining team collaboration sites
• Experience writing high-level training documentation, step by step process, and how-to’s on running reports, business processes
• Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional phone manner and in-person presence
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel with advanced knowledge of Outlook
• Experience taking detailed notes and extracting action items

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response
• Superior organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
• Desired Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Network Engineer, Project Management, Systems Administration, Engineering, Projects, Production Operations, & user support in a mission critical environment
• Able to commit at least three days per week (5 hours/day)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by SNY.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols. 

Hourly rate: $15
