Based in Windsor, CT, Triumph employs approximately 120 personnel. The Company’s key products and services include design, development, manufacture and support of highly engineered mechanical actuation and components for fixed wing and rotary commercial and military aircraft and military systems.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern, Supply Chain to join our Windsor, CT team. The Supply Chain Intern will support a business process improvement project and learn the role a Procurement Analyste at our site. Person will be invited to meetings to get a summary overview of our business and our departments role.
* Assist Supply Chain Team with special projects.
* Review Lead Times in JDE and confirm with suppliers.
* Review supplier quality records in Approved Supplier Database and provide analysis of updates required.
* Assist Buyers with RFQ’s for Customer Quote Requests.
* Create price book for Outside Processing utilizing email quotes to populate Excel spreadsheet.
Qualifications
College attendance - Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
* Computer skills: High Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Applications with moderate to expert skill level in Excel – VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables desirable.
* Good attention to detail and good communication skills.
