Leidos is hiring for a Warehouse Specialist to support our Orlando, FL logistics requirements for the US Army Common Hardware Systems – 6th Generation (CHS-6) contract. The Warehouse Specialist serves as a member of the Program Management team, reporting to the CHS-6 Logistics Operations Manager. CHS-6 is a recently awarded US Army IDIQ contract with a ceiling value of $7.9B over 10-years.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Support tracking incoming materials for inventory; working with quality control, purchasing and planning to ensure components flow and visibility to all involved.
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack – Leidos will provide training and certification
- Complete goods receipt of material against purchase orders.
- Prepare and ship completed kits.
- Support property inventory and management functions must be able to operate computer equipment and customized software for equipment tracking.
- Assist with operations of a supply room to include stocking shelves, inventorying, and shopping for resupply items.
- Demonstrate willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks assigned to support the overall organization.
- Prepare and apply hardware marking labels and MIL-STD packaging labels to equipment prior to shipment.
- Coordinate and prepare for Government inspection activities.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; preferred to be a graduate of a 2-year technical school. Five (5) or more years’ warehouse experience.
- US Citizenship required. Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
- Experience with all facets of shipping and receiving.
- Experience preparing orders for outbound shipping: wrapping pallets, determining weight and dimensions to generate shipping labels, and coordinating shipments with carriers.
- Experience conducting physical inspection and inventory upon receipt.
- Must be capable of assisting with operations of a supply room to include stocking shelves and inventorying.
- Must have ability to reconcile inventory data for tracking, monitoring and shipping.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of military supply/property management policies and procedures.
- Understanding of commercial and DOD packaging requirements.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,200.00 - $79,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
