How you do this? As senior site manager, you combine operational leadership with strategic insight. You are responsible for the full operation of our warehouses and ensure that it seamlessly aligns with the growth ambitions of both our customers and DSV itself. With your vision and experience, you future-proof processes, leverage automation, and identify commercial opportunities. At the same time, you implement improvements that create value in both the short and long term.

 

You are a visible presence on the shop floor, where you motivate, develop and empower employees. At the same time, you are a trusted discussion partner for international customers at tactical and strategic level. You translate customer expectations into concrete plans and ensure alignment between operations, IT, customer requirements and business objectives.

 

In addition, you are responsible for monitoring and achieving the financial results (full P&L responsibility for three sites). You manage KPIs, performance and workforce management, and use data and automation to enable continuous optimisation. You also actively contribute to the development of an entrepreneurial culture in which collaboration, quality and ownership are central.

 

A major automation implementation in an ADR environment is scheduled for 2026. Together with your team, you will lead this process. Your strong change and project management skills will be essential to ensure this implementation is both smooth and successful. You achieve this by:

• delivering an efficient operation where KPIs, quality and customer promise are central;
• translating customer growth and market dynamics into scalable, future-oriented solutions;
• building strong customer relationships and actively contributing to commercial and contractual development;
• developing an agile and resilient team that dares to take responsibility and show initiative.

You bring

 

• proven experience in managing large-scale logistics operations within a 3PL environment, preferably in an automated warehouse;
• strategic, commercial and analytical skills with which you understand, improve and grow processes in line with customer needs;
• inspiring leadership: you know how to connect with people, develop them and bring out their strengths;
• excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, enabling you to interact effectively at all levels inside and outside the organisation.
