We are hiring a Senior Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic Experimental Station Team in Wilmington, DE.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support multiple departments to identify optimal and cost-effective shipping routes by requesting freight rates from contracted logistics service providers (Monthly: 1-2 hours).
• Create freight and warehousing cost forecasts using source data from SAP, financial operating systems, and Aggregate Supply Plans (Monthly task with weekly checks).
• Review and analyze monthly freight and warehousing costs to identify causes of upticks and outliers (Monthly task with weekly checks).
• Act as the investigator and main point of contact for logistics and transportation issues related to Corian inbounds and outbounds across North America (Weekly).
• Serve as the main point of contact to file claims against logistics service providers for compensation (Weekly).
• Analyze and review warehouse/logistics metrics from various sources, including PowerBI and LSP performance data, and create visualizations for presentation at the Monthly Global Logistics and Global Supply meetings (Weekly).
• Investigate, review, and resolve logistics complaints entered in Salesforce/Cority Events (Weekly).
• Present Salesforce Complaints data during the A3 review call to identify root causes and reduce the number of QNS issues month to month (Monthly).
• Support the quarterly update of the FIFO calculator for batch defects and follow up with global warehouses on findings (Quarterly).
• Compile North America freight rate data from various sources to support Product Management (Every 6 months).
• Facilitate bi-weekly warehouse meetings to review upcoming shipments, streamline processes, and identify transportation/capacity issues.
• Lead and oversee the tracking of various projects, including Value Map streaming.
• Maintain the Shelter warehouses master file.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Proficient in SAP.
