​The Clinical Nursing Supervisor of our Oncology Unit supports the Manager, Nursing Staff, and Health Team by coordinating patient care, serving as a resource for clinical decision-making, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role encompasses clinical, educational, administrative, and research responsibilities while maintaining compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
• Support RNs in care planning, advocacy, and decision-making.
• Provide education and mentorship to staff, patients, and families.
• Assist with staff management, resource allocation, and unit operations.
• Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives and integrate nursing research into practice.
• Perform direct patient care as needed and collaborate on staffing decisions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN preferred).
• Licensure: Active RN license in Indiana and BLS certification.
• Experience: 3-5 years previous experience in clinical leadership role preferred.
