Lifestyle TV Producer: Bridge Street

NewsChannel 9 WSYR is seeking a creative and energetic producer for "Bridge Street," Central New York’s only live daily lifestyle/entertainment show.  The Bridge Street producer serves as line producer, coordinating daily production of the one-hour talk format airing weekday mornings from 10-11am.

Responsibilities:

• You will book guests; plan, research and write segments; prepare the rundown; coordinate staff; and booth the show. 
• You should be familiar with producing “live” talk/lifestyle formats or newscasts. 
• You will also work closely with our sales department, production staff, and the public.
• Our candidate must be adept at social media and will write stories for localsyr.com. 

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree and one to two years’ professional experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Central New York region and on-air ability is a plus. 
• You should be highly organized, with strong research and writing skills… a good communicator and team player, working well under pressure with a cool head and attention to detail and quality. The ability to enterprise segments is key.
• Videography and editing skills are a plus!
• This position reports to the “Bridge Street” executive producer.

Compensation Range: $19 - $22 per hour
