Senior Indirect Procurement Manager - Berlin or remote

<p><strong><em>Location</em></strong><em>: Berlin or remote</em></p> <p> </p> <p>We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Indirect Procurement Manager (f/m/d). This role is focused on implementing procurement processes to identify addressable spend to deliver both savings and strong relationships with new and existing vendors. </p> <p>It is a highly visible role with a significant focus on business partnering and execution. The role holder will own strategic categories/business units to drive improvements in products and services for the best prices and terms.</p> <h2><strong>YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Together with internal stakeholders you will define the purchasing roadmap of your spend categories, supporting both ad-hoc spend &gt;25K as well as significant contracts with key vendors 0.5 - 5M </li> <li>You will work alongside other Procurement Specialists covering a diverse range of categories that will include: <ul> <li>Marketing (specifically Digital &amp; Offline Media)</li> <li>Tech (SaaS, Infrastructure, Hardware &amp; Licensing)</li> <li>Professional Services &amp; Human Resources</li> <li>Real Estate (Property, Facilities &amp; Services)</li> </ul> </li> <li>You will negotiate beyond the basic negotiation practices to deliver maximum value for FREENOW, also in very difficult negotiation positions</li> <li>You will analyse the current and future spending as well as the current purchasing procedures</li> <li>You will establish and maintain positive relationships with key strategic suppliers</li> <li>You will represent FREENOW in supplier negotiations</li> <li>As a service provider for the whole group you will gain cross-functional trust and respect, and will build expertise for strategic categories </li> <li>You will identify and drive improvement initiatives aiming to optimise costs while ensuring best quality services</li> <li>You will ensure that the procurement process is followed consistently</li> <li>You will help to design and implement a purchasing system</li> </ul> <h2><strong>TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:</strong></h2> <p>You should have a consolidating and reliable character, highly self-motivated, who thrives in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment. You are offering both an understanding of numbers and people.
