At Acadia, we’re here to be their difference.</span></div></div><p><strong><u>Position Summary:</u></strong></p> <p>The Director, Direct Material and Manufacturing, Sourcing and Procurement will be a strategic leader of the Acadia Sourcing &amp; Procurement team, leading the development of all commercial manufacturing and raw materials sourcing category strategies globally. This position will play a vital role to ensure Acadia has access to top quality services, technologies, and vendor partners required to support company’s growth. It leads the identification, assessment, selection, negotiation, execution of contracts and relationship with key TDOQ vendors, and will contribute to the corporate sourcing &amp; procurement policy, vendor management and governance framework and process. This role will be based in San Diego, CA or Princeton, NJ</p> <p><strong><u>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop global sourcing strategies/plans for vendors in commercial supply chain, packaging and logistics, drug substance, drug formulation, quality assurance, analytical development</li> <li>Proactively work with business stakeholders including senior executives to identify sourcing needs and ensure sourcing strategies align with business goals and enable efficiency &amp; innovation</li> <li>Assess, benchmark &amp; negotiate existing key vendor contracts and conduct gap analysis.</li> <li>Collaborate with Finance FP&amp;A team on vendor cost budgeting, forecasting, and saving validation</li> <li>Assess industry trends, evolving technology such as AI in procurement to ensure continuous improvement of sourcing process automation</li> <li>Collaborate with TDOQ team to establish vendor gove
