Sales and Client Service Intern

Artisan Partners is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist our intermediary sales and client service team. The intermediary sales environment, both within and external to Artisan is investment focused and requires exceptional communication, accuracy and thoroughness. The intern will support the team in fulfilling its sales and client service responsibilities. Ideal candidate will be available full-time hours during the summer of 2-25, with the potential for 15-20 hours during the school year.

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities

The candidate can expect to:

• Assist in discovering and organizing new client opportunities
• Maintain intermediary team data within Salesforce
• Assist in special projects
• Take on additional responsibilities and projects as proficiency is demonstrated

Qualifications

The successful candidate is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic achievement. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong organization and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Self-starter with interest in the investment management industry
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines with a sense of urgency
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated client service approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
