Our Opportunity
St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo is looking for an experienced pharmacy technician to join our inpatient pharmacy team! The ideal candidate will have pharmacy or healthcare experience and is a quick learner, team player, dependable and dedicated.

Location: St. Clare Hospital - Baraboo
Pay: Hourly (Weekend differential eligible)
Schedule:
Part Time - 20 hours/week
Variable, Monday - Friday, 630a-3p or 730a-4p
Every 3rd weekend: 630a-3p
Holiday rotation

Job Summary:
Job Profile SummaryProvides support to pharmacists including, but not limited to review of prescription orders, locating medications, preparation, counting, labeling, packing and delivery of medications to customers. Responsible for the technical operation of the drug distribution system. Responsible for the stocking and maintaining of automated dispensing systems. Trained in the preparation of intravenous medications.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares medications for pharmacist verification prior to refill in automated dispensing machines. Packs and labels medication orders requested from units, includes unit dose packaging products as indicated. Delivers medications to automated dispensing machines and uses expiration tracking feature. Monitors the automated dispensing cabinets notifications. Alerts pharmacist if unable to resolve notifications.
