MITER Brands™ is a residential window and door manufacturer that provides a leading portfolio of window and door brands for the new construction and replacement segments. MITER Brands, also known as Milgard, MI Windows & Doors and PGTI is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of vinyl windows and patio doors, with plants across the country. We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead a team of HR professionals in providing strategic support to key business functions and manufacturing operations across multiple locations. In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving HR excellence, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Pay Range: 139k - 173k, depending on experience

- This is an onsite role. The selected candidate may be based at one of the brand locations within the area of oversight
Responsibilities
HR Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, enhancing capabilities in employee relations, investigations, change management, project management, and business partnership
- Collaborate with peer HR Directors to drive consistent implementation of HR programs and initiatives across the organization
- Create a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring HR team members have growth opportunities
- Support business transformation initiatives by working cross-functionally to enhance the Team Member Experience
- Serve as an escalation point for HR Managers, COEs, and functional leaders to resolve complex HR issues, review investigations, and provide recommendations
- Champion HR compliance, proactively identifying risks and implementing self-audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulations
Business Partnership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, building strong relationships to support productions and commercial business objectives
- Provide input and assist in or lead efforts associated with change management efforts involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, and transfers
- Gain a deep understanding of the business, identifying organizational challenges and people needs, and providing strategic HR guidance
- Coach senior leaders on organizational design, talent strategies, and change management
- Drive a strong talent agenda, assisting leadership in identifying, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring effective succession planning.
- Utilize key HR metrics and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and business results
- Champion and embed MITER’s Guiding Principles into the organization’s culture
- Stay informed on regulatory and market changes, advising leadership on workforce implications and mitigating risk effectively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles in HR strategy, employee relations, organizational development, and business partnership
- Proven leadership experience in HR strategy, employee relations, organizational development, and business partnership
- Strong ability to influence, coach, and develop HR teams and senior leaders
- Experience managing regional (multi-state and multi-site) HR operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Expertise in change management, workforce planning, and HR compliance
- Data-driven mindset with experience in utilizing HR metrics to inform decision-making
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
